Use HomePod as a PC Speaker
ToneRelay sends normal Windows audio to one HomePod on the same local network.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11.
- One HomePod.
- The same local network.
- ToneRelay installed on the PC.
Setup outline
- Install ToneRelay.
- Allow Windows local network permission.
- Select the HomePod in ToneRelay.
- Play audio normally on Windows.
Limits
- Works with one HomePod or one HomePod mini at a time.
- Uses the current Windows default output, not separate per-app routing.
- Best for everyday listening, not timing-critical gaming or live monitoring.
- Does not add Sonos, Chromecast, DLNA, Apple TV, multi-room, or stereo-pair support.
