ToneRelay Privacy
ToneRelay is a local Windows audio utility. It uses your PC audio so it can play through the selected HomePod or HomePod mini.
Audio
ToneRelay captures the current Windows default output only for playback to the selected speaker. It is not a recording app.
- ToneRelay does not save your raw audio during normal playback.
- ToneRelay does not require an account for the first setup.
- ToneRelay does not need cloud sync to play audio on your local network.
Local network
ToneRelay needs local network access so the Windows PC can find and play to the HomePod or HomePod mini in your home or office.
Diagnostics
If you share troubleshooting details with support, review them first for device names, network names, or other personal information.
License and payment status
The local trial state is handled on the PC. Checkout and payment are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record, and ToneRelay does not directly store card details. ToneRelay's license service receives the minimum order and customer information needed to issue and support the purchased license.

Optional website analytics
If Google Analytics is enabled, this website asks for permission first; declining does not affect downloading or buying. Measurement sends query-free page addresses, referring sites and trial, pricing, download and checkout-entry clicks. An entry containing only utm_source=chatgpt.com is classified as a ChatGPT referral. After consent, that parameter is removed before the analytics script loads; a fixed source classification is sent instead of the raw query. Unknown or additional parameters, purchase success pages and privacy opt-outs remain excluded. Google may also process IP addresses, device information and analytics cookies; this measurement does not send License Keys, orders or signed redirect parameters. Withdraw permission in the footer and remove site data in your browser settings if desired. Clicks do not prove completed installations or payments.
Device request information
The email, device class, model, software versions, hardware availability and feedback you submit are stored on Cloudflare and emailed to support@tonerelay.com, hosted by Zoho. They are used for demand statistics, technical evaluation and relevant follow-up, not marketing. To prevent repeated submissions, the API rate-limits the public IP provided by Cloudflare. Only a server-keyed IP digest and counters are stored, separately from feedback, expiring 48 hours after the last counted request and then automatically cleaned up; raw IP addresses are not stored. Website feedback records are retained for up to 180 days; email support@tonerelay.com to request deletion. Do not include passwords, License Keys, payment details, home addresses or local network addresses.
