  • The trial starts after ToneRelay first reaches Playing.
  • The trial runs locally on your Windows PC for 7 days.

What the planned Pro license includes

A Pro license permanently unlocks continued use beyond the 7-day trial for the same focused product scope. It is not a subscription.

  • Windows 10/11 default output audio playback.
  • Use with one HomePod or one HomePod mini at a time.
  • Continued Pro use after the local trial ends.
  • No recurring subscription fee for the purchased license.
  • Works with one HomePod or one HomePod mini at a time.
  • Uses the current Windows default output, not separate per-app routing.
  • Best for everyday listening, not timing-critical gaming or live monitoring.
  • Does not add Sonos, Chromecast, DLNA, Apple TV, multi-room, or stereo-pair support.

Current trust boundaries

  • The installer is unsigned / not code-signed and may trigger SmartScreen or antivirus warnings.
  • Updates are manual website downloads and overwrite installs for now.
  • ToneRelay is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Apple.
  • This static site does not include payment backend code, license-worker code, D1/KV bindings, or secrets.
